Happenings at WPC Kelmscott for May and June

It's been a while since I have posted anything on this site. This is due to having holidays and recently moving into a new home. We thank God for His provision and timing of this, we are truly blessed.

Life in the church here has continued, I am continuing in a series on the Book of Isaiah and this Sunday will be looking at the promises that God gives to all those that are His, from chapter 43.

We have also been blessed to hear some of the work of the Missions that we support.
Johanna Sanders from the Mustard Seed Orphanage in Burma spoke to us on the work of the orphanage, including many needs that we take for granted here in Australia, such as healthcare, housing, electricity, and food.

Last Sunday night we had Chris Summerfield from Drug Arm Western Australia speak to us on the issues of drug addiction and how their organization helps people get thier lives back under control.

Drug Arm WA is an interdenominational Christian organisation, working as a professional agency in the drug and alcohol arena. They provide: An Awareness about the realities of drug abuse through information and education. A number of Rehabilitation and treatment opportunities. Support to clients to Manage their stages of progression with treatment and establishing a drug free lifestyle. You can visit thier webpage at http://www.drugarmwa.org.au/.
